   जिन विषयों पर मंत्रियों से वक़्तव्य देने के लिए कहा गया है उनमें से कुछ इस प्रकार हैं : भारत के किसी भाग में उपद्रव ; सीमावर्ती झगड़े ; रेल दर्घटनाएं ; सरकारी उपक्रमों का बंद हो जो जाना ; न्यायालयों द्वारा दिए गए ऐसे फैसले जिनमें मंत्रालयों का केंद्रीय सरकार के अधिकारियों को प्रभावित करने वाली टिप्पणियां की गई हों ; शत्रु के विमानों द्वारा वायु सीमा क्षेत्र का उल्लंघन ; पत्तनों , बंदरगाहों , विमान कंपनियों , रेलवे तथा अन्य सार्वजनिक उपयोग की सेवाओं में हड़तालें , विदेशों में रहने वाले भारतीयों स्थिति ; गंभीर खाद्यान्न , सूखे या बाढ़ की स्थिति , इत्यादि
